今日(4月28日),外媒 The Esports Observer 报道称,中国直播平台虎牙直播与腾竞体育签订了媒体版权协议,内容包括将英雄联盟职业联赛(LPL)、英雄联盟发展联赛(LDL)和LPL全明星周末及颁奖典礼相关的内容资源的使用权及该等权力(即直播权和点播权)转授给虎牙,适用于中国大陆地区。
受腾竞体育授权,虎牙还将得到重播、新闻、集锦内容的制作。
根据虎牙的财务报表显示,这笔交易涉及金额高达20.13亿人民币。该直播合同为期5年,视频点播权益为期3年。
此前2020年8月,中国直播平台Bilibili和RiotGames签订了英雄联盟全球总决赛、季中赛和全明星赛事为期3年的的独家直播权。

Chinese live streaming platform Huya has signed a media rights deal with China’s League of Legends operator TJ Sports, which grants the platform exclusive broadcasting, video-on-demand, and distribution rights in China to the League of Legends Pro League (LPL), League of Legends Development League (LDL), and LPL All-Star event. According to Huya’s Form 20-F report, the deal was purchased for ¥2,013M RMB ($310M USD) total price.
The broadcasting rights deal is for a five-year term starting from 2021-2025, while the VOD rights is a three-year deal.
In addition, Huya can also produce promotional videos and written content, such as replays, highlights, news and commentary, which is based on TJ Sports-authorized League of Legends resources, Riot Games told The Esports Observer.
In August 2020, Chinese live streaming platform Bilibili signed an exclusive three-year media rights deal with Riot Games for all International League of Legends competitions, including League of Legends World Championship, Mid-Season Invitational, and All-Star event.
